I turned off my internet, closed all the tasks in the task manager, reboot without internet, open your directory folder before steam, deleted apex folder, reconnect internet, open steam, choose what you wanna do next. Uninstall apex in steam and leave it till patch Reinstall to get the game files back.

If you really want to rollback a couple of builds, Rolling back is easy enough. Type cmd on the start menu, right click on the Command Prompt, choose Run as Administrator then copy and paste the line in the command prompt. If you are not able to kill the task using task manager I suggest you to try to kil the task using command prompt. a. Press Windows key + X. b. Select Command Prompt (Admin). c. run the tasklist command, it will show you a list of all the running processes. d. Now you can kill any particular process by running the Taskkill command .
All I can really do is interact with the taskbar by using the windows key. I need a way to force close the application (like ending the task in task manager). Opening task manager doesn't work because the frozen application will be over top.
